How to Order Leather

First of all, most leather is priced by the square foot, and sold by the entire skin, or hide.... But you - oh, most fortunate of people - have stumbled across probably the only guy on the web that's actually willing to cut leather for you!!!! I'd rather not, mind you, but I will. : ) So here's how to go about it!

The easiest way to order leather is to order the average footage of the described leather. For example, if you wanted to order a side of SL9561 oil tanned side, you'd enter the footage based on 20, or 21, or 22 sq ft. (your choice), and that would be the price for the entire side. In the event that you didn't want a full side, you could get a half side. Just enter 10 or 11 sq ft. and that would be the price.

If you need to order a piece of leather that's smaller than half a hide, that's ok too! We can handle it, but you'll most likely get a phone call from us so that we make sure that we're getting you what you want. Many times I'll save you money with that call. That's why we require your phone number! : )

When you get into smaller sizes of leather, I've got such a variety of stuff here, that it's quite possible I've got something in a remnant that might be cheaper for you. BUT KEEP IN MIND...... When we buy leather, we've got to pay for every single square inch of it, even if it's irregularly shaped. So naturally we kind of expect the same of you!
