Wanna step up your maul game but not quite ready to invest in a Barry King? This 16 oz. poly maul with a wooden handle will be a less expensive option that will leave a little extra cash in your pocket!
I received the maul last week. I used the maul to do some tooling yesterday (Monday) on a wallet I'm working on. Worked real well, but I noticed that the poly head has numerous divets in the head already. I mean DEEP divets. I think I can still use it,but I'm a little disappointed. I thought it would hold up better.

A Great Maul

I wanted a little heavier, nicer maul, but wasn't ready to go for the more expensive ones yet. I really like this one for tooling belts. The screw at the end of the handle stays tight, rather than coming loose all the time. I have not had any issue with divets in the surface. All around, exactly what I was hoping for.
