Our economically priced Medium Grade Tooling Sides are our best selling tooling leather! It's a relatively constant grade that's somewhere between the top and the bottom of the pile... There may be a few holes or scars, but usually not many. Insect damage will be minimal and will be pretty much out of the way of the best part of the hide. By and large, it's just pretty good leather! Available in 3-4 oz., 4-5 oz., and 5-6 oz. Sides average 18-28 sf. Sold by the square foot. To order a whole side please choose a quantity between 18-28.

Not my favorite

This leather had great reviews and I was extremely excited to get it in, upon arrival this leather is extremely stiff and almost feels as its cardboard and cracks like there's no tomorrow. This leather isn't smooth and causes a very uneven dye. I probably will try a different grade next time.
