Our economically priced Medium Grade Tooling Sides are our best selling tooling leather! It's a relatively constant grade that's somewhere between the top and the bottom of the pile... There may be a few holes or scars, but usually not many. Insect damage will be minimal and will be pretty much out of the way of the best part of the hide. By and large, it's just pretty good leather! Available in 3-4 oz., 4-5 oz., and 5-6 oz. Sides average 27-32 sf. Sold by the square foot. Item # 133-72245.

Came as a thin 3-4 oz

I got a larger piece than I ordered so that was awesome but the whole cut ended up being closer to 3 oz. I'll still use it and quality seems good just consistently thinner than I was hoping.

i'm so very pleased with the quality of this leather. it's beautiful! exactly as described, and i will be doing a lot more business with SLC. that garbage i bought at that other leather place, well, it's nothing compared to what i got in the mail today. i'm very happy i found SLC. thanks so much for swiftly fulfilling my order.

Fantastic Leather. Don't let the price fool you.

This is what I normally use for Wallet Lining and this was perfect Leather for that and any other project where this weight is needed. I also tried SLC's 3-4oz and found it even easer to cut and work.
