Spartan Oil Tan

These rugged, domestic oil tan sides are the first of a new line from SLC. Through a partnership with a US tannery, we are excited to offer these beautiful sides at a great price. We decided to call them our Spartan line because while beautiful, they may have scuffs or scratches throughout the side, but that’s what gives it a story. That’s what makes it durable and rugged and well-worn. Just like the Spartans of old, this leather will survive the test of time and add tenacity to your projects.

These sides are mostly earthtones and are 4-6oz with a Medium Firm hand. Not only are they affordable, but they come from domestic cows tanned at a US tannery that is known for producing some of the best leather in the world. I hope you don’t mind a few scrapes and scratches, because not only will it add another dimension to your projects, but it will continue to exude the uncompromising resolve and affordability that you’ve come to expect from SLC leather.
