Import Double Shoulders
These Import Double Shoulders come to us from all over the world! We offer them to you in two grades, B-Grade and Craftsman. The B-Grade and the Craftsman grade are going to be of similar quality with B-Grade having less natural imperfections, but the major difference is the size of them. Both grades may have a scratch, or a bug bite, or possibly a brand but the majority of the Double Shoulder will be great for a variety of projects! You can make belts, holsters, straps, or anything where you want a nice tight firm grain of leather!
Leather sold by the Square foot is rough cut, if you need specific dimensions out of the footage you order, please give us a call so we can help you out.

Very coarse on the flesh side

The leather I received was a heavy duty leather in the appropriate weight in B grade as far as top grain imperfections. That being said, the flesh side of the leather was extremely stiff, scratchy, and coarse, like rough sandpaper. I tried wetting it with water and slicking it with a glass slicker as well as slicking it with Tokonole and I could not get anywhere close to a decent finish on the flesh side. This was to be used for an unlined revolver holster, which it was unsuitable for due to its coarseness. Otherwise, it was a very clean and hefty piece of leather that will serve well in other applications.
