SLC Management has updated the in-store hours. New retail hours will be 10am to 6pm central starting Monday June 1st.

05.04.2020

SLC Management has spent countless hours taking in to consideration State and Local recommendations as well as CDC guidelines and mandates for a safe reopen plan.

It is with these in mind that SLC Management has made the decision to extend our own walk in traffic closure to the public by one week.

We have north of 70 employees that work here at any given time, so it is with all these folks in mind that we are taking this extra precaution.

We do offer curbside and online/call in orders as we have for all of April. We will use this extra time to prepare our showroom for the safety of our employees as well as customers.

We will also have people available to meet you at your car to help you, it would be much more convenient for you to call your order in ahead of time and allow us to get it ready for you to pick up. We do realize life happens and sometimes we think of what we need after we are out and about so we will do our best to help you.

Based on the calculations given by Greene County we could have 62.5 people in the building on top of our employees... we just do not feel it would be safe to reopen full tilt... not even for that .5 person!

So we will reopen to limited walk in traffic on May 11th.

We thank you for your patronage and your patance as we do our very best for the safety of our staff and you.

We hope this letter finds you and yours well and healthy.

Hello Friends and Family,

This is an update on the COVID-19 situation as it relates to Springfield Leather and the fulfillment of your orders with us.

Local Ordinance in Springfield Missouri, as well as Greene County, require that we close our doors to the public until the ordinance ends.

Currently for you all that means we will be closing our retail services and will reopen at 9am CST on May 4th, 2020.

Since our staff will be limited, the phone lines may be busy, we request that if you need to contact us that you do so by email at team@springfieldleather.com or place orders online.

The SLC Management team will still be available to answer your questions, continue to provide education and help you to be successful during this challenging time, just as we have always been. There could be delay in shipping and receiving orders during this time due to these issues. Please know that we will do everything within our power to get your product to you as soon as possible.

By working together, we will pull through these hardships and come out stronger than ever before. Thank you for your continued trust in SLC.

Sincerely,

SLC Management

Hello All,

I hope you have had a good weekend, please review the following information and share it!

Rusty

Do Not Panic. While it is good to be alert to epidemics and to take reasonable precautions, the response should be a measured approach based on facts, not on fear.

Follow Government Recommendations and Directives. Local authorities often implement precautions or restrictions for public health. It is good to keep informed and comply with the government’s directives.

  • Promote Good Hygiene. It is essential to wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. We should also keep frequently touched surfaces clean in our home and at our Kingdom Hall. Additionally, medical experts discourage shaking hands in such situations, as this could continue the spread of disease. Regarding the coronavirus, the World Health Organization has provided additional advice for the public.
