Odd Lot Oil Tan Sides

I ordered the 2 for $70 deal. I'm a very satisfied customer! I requested to get at least one coyote brown color and they delivered on it! Extremely happy with the sides I got, such a steal..

A couple holes in 1 of the 3 sides I ordered, but I'm still happy with what I received. Seems like great quality for the price.

I ordered the two for and was impressed with the quality of the sides! They have made some great items and everyone loves them, especially the pullup.

I bought one hide ($20). It came with a very strong industrial oil scent. I let it out in the sun and gave it fresh air to breathe out the odor for half a day. It still has a distinct motor oil scent but not as harsh as when it comes. There are many defects and wrinkles in the hide. Considering the price, I do not think it is bad leather but definitely will not make anything to sell or use from it. I will probably try some new designs with it.

Beautiful leather and worth far more than what I paid for it. I have bought several of the $30.00 ones. The quality is excellent. It is a pleasure to work with them. The people working at Springfield leather are so nice too, they actually got me the color I needed to make a special piece, once I explained why I needed it. Excellent service and excellent products; what more can one ask for?

Im still new to leather and ordered a pair of sides to use for making softsole boots. Ive never seen or even felt oil tan leather so this is new for me. IMHO, they look great, yes there are blemishes but to me that just adds character. I love the look of the sides I got and the wife loved them as well. (Thats always a plus)

This is stunning leather and oh my god the price for all the sq foot is an absolute steal. I couldnt tell which leather was which when side by side with another leather from the 22 day sale. Super good stuff.

The price is definitely a plus, and the leather quality of fine, the only thing is that the sizes are pretty inconsistent. I ordered two of the same price leather, but on arrival, one was only about 3/4ths the size of the other one.

I bought the $15 and the 2 for $50. Very nice leather. My only complaint is I got 3 pieces of leather that is all the same color. I was really hoping to get all different colors

Springfield has surprised me again and again with their quality and attention to detail, particularly because they didn't have to. At $15 a side these don't have any right to be as nice as they are. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence about the hides. Thank you everyone at Springfield. It's only 4 star because i can't click on the 5th.

I purchased the $20 deal. It was a beautiful piece of leather!! There were some holes and marks, but still an awesome deal for the price! I am a super beginner but I made a pretty cool tote purse with it. Definitely recommend this deal!

Can't not express how great this deal is I got 2 $15 pieces and just love it way bigger then I thought and only one small hole in one of the pieces this is great I can't wait to get more already

Ok folks - I have irdered twice now - did 3 @ $15/each, and 2 for $50. I have to tell you the product is wonderful. We have all bought leather at many prices. All I have to say is if you need leather buy this stuff. While you cannot specify exact quality/ colour etc. There is a place for comments. All I asked was to make the two colours different. Done. Easy.. all ya need to do is decide on qty and price then click buy & ship...done. you are most welcome. You will be back to buy again...and again...

Wanted to start making some journal covers, so I ordered 6 x $15 sides. Sides are high quality, about 4oz, and a dusty tan... I just wish I'd known that all 6 would be the same type of leather! I get that SLC was probably trying to do me a favor and give me a ton of matching material to work with, but I wish there had been an option for "matching if possible" vs "send me a variety", because I was hoping for the latter. Still, the quality is good, the smell is good, and I have plenty of material to practice on!

Leather seems like good quality, but out of the colors I received the puke gray.

Excellent value. I bought 2 $50 hides and got both of the same brown colors. Next time I'll ask for a different color. Beautiful oily sides with amazing pullup. Will buy again.

2 for $50 was an absolute bargain for what I got. Just some amazing dark brown pull up leather. My whole house smells like leather and I just can’t wait to see what I can get out of this stuff once I really get started. Ordered it twice, I was just as pleased the second time around. What. A. Bargain!

Darker brown oil tan sides...$15.00. I purchased 3, 2 had pretty decent bug bites/hole and lots of character (good for composition bookcovers)... But the 3rd was longer and really nice (less character). I'll get two rustic totes out of it.

I've purchased 3 of these sides , 2@$50 and 1@$50. They are well worth the money. They aren't perfect , brands ,scars, and holes to work around, but nothing I didn't expect. It just adds character to the rustic haversacks I'm making for the grandkids. I'll get 4 full sized backpacks out of these sides. That's a good deal.

Just got two in today and ordered two more. They have some character but it is nice looking leather and you cannot beat the price! Hats off to the folks at Springfield Leather Company.
