So much more versatile than I first thought.

I first saw this die-cut hexagon leather on Amazon when I was searching through SLC's storefront. That led me to their actual store (where I prefer to buy their products). At first, I thought, "What could someone possibly do with 100 hexagon shaped leather pieces?" They are designed for kids' crafts, but I immediately thought of making a leather purse that resembled a honeycomb. Pictures here of the final product: https://photos.app.goo.gl/XJNKjgrKh8Ni6pNp6 In addition to these hexagons, I used Fiebing's yellow pro dye (http://springfieldleather.com/Pro-Dye-Fiebings-Yellow-4oz), walnut dye (http://springfieldleather.com/Pro-Dye-Fiebings-Walnut-4oz), and some dark brown that I still had lying around. The sides were done with 5 oz. veg tanned leather. Bottom line: These hexagons are nature's perfect shape to make just about any other shape, and they look amazing when stitched together!
