These are very nice, finished splits that have been drum-dyed and struck through in rich black, and then embossed with a gorgeous pebble grain, and classic finish. As a matter of fact, this leather was embossed so good that we could barely tell if it was cow or pig! The consensus is that it’s COW. Anyway, they’re VERY clean. And VERY upper end. These double butts have great length, a firm hand, and would make the most amazing, laminated belts, bags, wallets, clutches, and other personal leather goods. *If we must cut this leather to get you the size you ordered, please know that we cut Bends/Butts longways down the back, from neck to butt.
