This professional, multi-purpose glue from Renia is what’s known as a dispersion adhesive, meaning it’s a water-based adhesive that forms super-strong, cement-like bonds as the water evaporates. This glue securely bonds all types of leather, including veg tan, but it absolutely outshines almost all other adhesives when it comes to gluing oil tanned leathers! In addition to leather, this stuff is great for gluing all sorts of materials such as rubber, foam, metal, wood, and even cork! It’s perfect for all sorts of textiles, including fabrics like canvas, denim, and other cloths. It’s also ideal for making quick repairs on shoes, clothing, leather goods, etc. Plus, it’s odorless and dries clear! Do Not Freeze!
To use: Apply a thin layer to the flesh sides of both pieces of the leather that you want to glue together (if you're gluing the grain side, you'll need to rough it up a little bit with some sandpaper or leather rougher). Let the pieces sit for a few minutes, until the white glue turns clear and tacky. The key is to not stick them together if the glue is still wet. Once clear and tacky, simply stick the pieces together and let cure for at least an hour.
