Smooth running

Absolutely worth every penny!! Smoothest running beveler I have ever held. Sharp as can be right out of the package. Excellent craftsmanship and beautiful finish to the tools. Perfectly balanced and so easy to use. Improved my game with these.
Another upcharged tool from SLC.

It's a great tool but can be found for $10 less under the original brand name OWDEN. These folks can't be beat when it comes to leather, but so many of their tools can be found cheaper elsewhere online.

Like butter! Super sharp right out of the package. These have upgraded my end products quality so much but without breaking the bank. I bought the whole set and I find myself making excuses and adjustments just so I can use all 5 sizes! I mainly reach for the 2 or 3 (working with 3-4 and 5-6 oz leather) but I've used the #5 to round over multilayered edges more aggressively. I was able to do a straight strip, 60 inches, in one single pass with these.

I'm just a hobbyist, so splurging on this set was probably a little silly. Having used them for a few months now, I have zero regrets. These are beautiful, high quality, and a joy to use. I don't think I will ever need another set. Very easy to keep sharp. Whenever they start to slow down I strop both sides of the edge with a length of nylon string loaded with green compound. A loop on one end hooks on a nail head on the side of my work bench so I can pull the string taut.
