Shape - Edge Spine. Approximate measurements - 2-1/2" x 11" (5.71 x 27.94 cm.). Cut from 4 - 5 oz. (1.6 - 2 mm.) natural Hermann Oak veg tan leather. Available as each, 25 pack, and 100 pack. Manufactured by SLC.
These edge spines are cut from Hermann Oak which allows you to tool, stamp, paint, dye, antique, draw, stencil or just keep it natural for a rustic look. These are perfect for reinforcing spines on portfolios, menus, songbooks, special notebooks, and etc. The shapes come with pre-punched holes ensuring ease of assembly with screws, rivets, or even lace (we used our ¼ inch chicago screws (item #: 131-112102).
Simply finish your spine shape however you’d like then fold it around your book, notepad, menu, etc. Then, secure it with your screw or rivet of choice. (You will need to punch holes into your pages and covers to make sure all components are secure).
