Tannery Run Springbok Hair-on Skin
Take a look at our Springbok Hair-on Skins! A springbok is a medium-sized antelope found in southern Africa. The coloring on these skins is quite eye-catching and would be great for home decor like pillows, craft projects, various bags and clutches, and anything needing soft hair-on style. Some hides do have minimal blemishes such as small holes and missing hair in places.

I bought 2 of these hides to frame and hang on a wall. It says small holes and some hair may be missing. 1st hide was missing 50% of the hair on the neck. No big deal as I could trim off the neck and all the small holes around the edges and still have something I could hang on the wall but then I notice other areas across the hide missing hair. This hide will have to be cut up for small projects. Hide #2 all hair attached. Small holes to me are the 1/4 to 3/8 holes used for stretching and prepping a hide for tanning. 2”X3/4” and 2”X 1/2 holes to me are not small when in the middle of the rear butt cheek of such a small hide. Very disappointing. If you are looking for a wall hanging look elsewhere. If you plan to use them for small projects go for it!
Large bald spots and hair slippage

Decent to low-grade quality. You have to read the description carefully. Mine had large patches missing in the most used area, and the hair keeps coming out. This has ruined at least one project so far. Won’t much more than maybe two small clutches and most of it will be brown instead of multicolored, and that’s best case scenario. Think carefully before you buy.
