Bridle/Latigo Strip - Black, 1-1/2"

The topside of the blank is fine. A nice heavy finished surface. The sides are not dyed, they straight cut and can be edge koted or bevelled. The back of the strap is very poor as its a thin split from a heavily scratched low grade hide. It WILL require substantial work including sanding and burnishing to get the back in decent shape. I was surprised at this quality of the split as The top coat is far better, even with a liner or a thin vegtan backing the back will need work as it has alot of loose skin tags that need to be trimmed for a even glue surface.

good piece of leather. Thickness was 6-6.5mm. it was advestised at around 3.5-4mm. my snap post didnt go all the way through. made it hard to put the snaps on. Anyhow it is a nice thick piece of leather. It'll last a long time.
